Check to see where the vent outlet to your fuel tank is. On some boats, when ballasted for wakesurfing, the vent outlet is underwater or low enough to pick up water spray. If so, you will get water in your gas tank and this will damage your carburetor or fuel injectors. You will need to move your fuel vent outlet; usually forward near the windshield is adequate.
